About the Club


MANDATE

The Owen Sound Cycling Club actively promotes all types of bicycling in and around the southern Georgian Bay region of Ontario, Canada. The club and its members pursue and participate in both road and off road cycling events.

CLUB RIDES

The club holds weekly time trials and rides. The time trials alternate between 15 Km and 40 Km road, Australian Pursuit, team time trials and off road races. The rides vary from easy recreational to longer fitness training, off road, back road, free rides, night rides and touring.

COMMUNITY

This organization is actively involved in developing new trails and maintaining existing trail systems in cooperation with the Grey/Sauble Conservation Authority and other land owners.

The club promotes cycling as a safe, clean and healthy way to commute and travel throughout the region.

The Owen Sound Cycling Club is a member of the Ontario Cycling Association and I.M.B.A. (The International Mountain Bike Association).

MEMBERSHIP

We welcome new members from the age of 12 and up.
