2025 Cycling Season

🚴‍♂️OSCC Cycling Season Starts May 5th!🚴‍♀️

We’re thrilled to kick off the 2025 cycling season starting Monday, May 5th!

The board worked hard over the winter months to put things in place for the year.  We’re pleased to announce we have added some additional rides to the schedule this year, and also added additional leaders and training to ensure we deliver safe and enjoyable riding experiences.

Here’s a quick summary of the 2025 Ride Schedule:

  • Monday Evening Co-Ed Road Ride – A/B Pace Groups (weekly)
  • Tuesday Evening Women’s Ride (weekly)
  • Wednesday Evening Time Trials (weekly )
  • Thursday Evening Co-Ed Ride – A/B/C Pace Groups (weekly)
  • Gravel Rides – 2nd & 4th Saturday of each month
  • Long Road Rides (A/B Group) (60 km-100 km) – 1st & 3rd Sunday of each month
  • Breakfast Ride – Monthly (see ride calendar for dates)

A few notes to prepare for the season:

All riders must have an OSCC Membership to ride.  Your membership entitles you to participate in any OSCC scheduled ride listed on the website calendar.  The link for membership can be found on the website here.

The ride calendar is posted on the club website, and we will be using it to list all the details of upcoming rides. Ride captains will be posting their routes in advance and using it to cancel rides as well.  Surf on over and take a peek of the upcoming rides!!! 🚴‍♂️

Please be sure to check the website frequently to ensure you receive all updates to the ride schedule, routes, times, and cancellations.  And we remind you to check the calendar on the website for each ride you plan to attend to confirm start locations, as we explore different start locations from time to time.

Sign Up Sheets are ready for sign up!  Each ride on the website includes a link to “Sign up here”.  This will take you directly to the sign up sheet for that particular ride.  Pease note, signing up before the ride is mandatory.  Kindly indicate which pace group (A, B or C) you’d like to ride with so we can plan accordingly.  And although not necessary, we do encourage you to try and sign up 24 hours prior to the ride whenever possible. This greatly assists the ride team to plan leaders for the required pace groups. 😊

✅  We encourage you to view the OSCC Riding Guidelines & Hand Signals, posted on the OSCC website before your first ride of the season.

Whether you’re here to crush your fitness goals, enjoy scenic rides, or just get moving, now’s the time to dust off those bikes and hit the road or trail with us. Expect exciting rides, new routes, a vibrant cycling community, and plenty of camaraderie along the way.

Cheers to a season full of adventure, health, and freedom on two wheels.
