{"id":7135,"date":"2026-07-02T15:45:08","date_gmt":"2026-07-02T19:45:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.owensoundcycling.ca\/?post_type=tribe_events&#038;p=7135"},"modified":"2026-07-29T12:33:18","modified_gmt":"2026-07-29T16:33:18","slug":"thursday-social-ride-kelso-splashpad-parking-lot-19th-vault-lindenwood-balmy-beach-loop","status":"publish","type":"tribe_events","link":"https:\/\/www.owensoundcycling.ca\/index.php\/rides\/thursday-social-ride-kelso-splashpad-parking-lot-19th-vault-lindenwood-balmy-beach-loop\/","title":{"rendered":"POT LUCK &#8211;  Social Ride from the Smith&#8217;s"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Join us for a fun evening of cycling, great food, and great company at our <strong>Pot Luck Social Ride<\/strong>!<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udce2<span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"> Please Note \u2013 New Route &amp; Start Location\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Due to fresh gravel recently being placed on portions of our original route, we&#8217;ve had to make a last-minute change to ensure everyone has a safe and enjoyable ride.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udccd <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">New Ride Start Location: <\/span><\/strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><strong>West Rocks Trail Head<\/strong> \u2013 Concession 3 Derby Road<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>\ud83d\udeb4 Ride Departure:\u00a0 \u00a0<\/strong><strong>6:15 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Feel free to pop by our house prior to the ride if you prefer to drop off any items before the ride.<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll enjoy a relaxed <strong>26 km social ride<\/strong> from West Rocks through Kilsyth, out to Grey Road 3, before looping back via Sideroad 6.<\/p>\n<p>After the ride, we&#8217;ll gather back at the Smiths&#8217; located at <strong>585 4th Street A West, Owen Sound<\/strong> for a pot luck dinner and some well-deserved social time.<\/p>\n<p>Spouses, partners, and children are warmly welcome to join us for the festivities. If they prefer not to ride, they&#8217;re welcome to relax at the house, mingle with everyone, and enjoy the pool while the group is out riding. <strong>Bill won&#8217;t be riding and will be home to welcome everyone.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"isSelectedEnd\">Please bring:<\/p>\n<ul data-spread=\"false\">\n<li>A dish or snack to share for the pot luck<\/li>\n<li>Lawn chair if you wish (we have seating for 12-14 people)<\/li>\n<li>Swimsuit and towel if you&#8217;d like if you&#8217;d like to cool off after the ride<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We hope you&#8217;ll join us for a wonderful evening of cycling, delicious food, and great company.
