DESCRIPTION:Kelso to Francis Lake and Shallow Lake 40 km (128 m elevation). 6 pm departure. \nFrom Kelso Beach parking lot we’ll follow the west side rail trail to Benallen to the Gordon Sutherland parkway. Turn left on Indian Acres Rd then right on Grey Rd 17.  Grey Rd 17 is paved and busy.  Past Copper Kettle we’ll turn left on Big Rock Rd and find ourselves on nice quiet cottage roads adjacent to Francis Lake.  Three other gravel roads bring us onto Grey Rd 170 and Shallow Lake.  Home via the rail trail. \nBrian O’Doherty \nSign up here \n\nTonight’s ride is also a “Try-It” ride\, open to non-members at no charge.  If you’ve been thinking about joining us\, this is a great opportunity to come out and experience the group! \nImportant: All participants must: \n\nSign a waiver prior to riding (waiver will be provided to you)\nRegister on the sign-up sheet using the link provided above\n\nPlease note: Non-members may participate in a maximum of two Try-It rides per season. \nWe look forward to riding with you!

SUMMARY:Gravel Ride - Bayshore Arena start
DESCRIPTION:Bayshore to Irish Block Rd. 36 km (174 m elevation) 6 pm departure \nAfter a short section on the east side rail trail\, we turn left onto 26th St E and then left onto a short but rough bypass route to Leith via the Tom Thomson trail. After an asphalt climb to Annan\, we access the Bayshore Escarpment Gravel Pleasure Dome area (to those of you new to gravel cycling).  A short counter clockwise loop to SideRd 23 will bring us back to the East Bayshore Rd.  Smooth cruising along the shore back to the Bayshore parking lot. \nBrian O’Doherty \nSign up here
