SUMMARY:Kelso-Keady Sunday "Try-It Ride" Loop
DESCRIPTION:This loop starts and ends at Kelso Park near the Splash Pad\, heading north through Owen Sound before bending west toward Kilsyth and the Squire–Cruickshank corridor. From there it continues south toward Keady\, where riders have the option to add a 10 km square through the village. Skipping this extension keeps the route closer to 43 km. After the Keady section\, the route turns east\, passing Springmount and re‑entering Owen Sound for a direct return to Kelso Park. DESCRIPTION:Kelso to Francis Lake and Shallow Lake 40 km (128 m elevation). 6 pm departure. \nFrom Kelso Beach parking lot we’ll follow the west side rail trail to Benallen to the Gordon Sutherland parkway. SUMMARY:Tuesday - Women's Ride (KELSO BEACH SPLASH PAD PARKING LOT - Start) & "Try-It Ride"
DESCRIPTION:The ride this week starts at Kelso Beach (splash pad parking lot) at 6:15 sharp.   \nThis week is a “try out ride”\, be sure to tell your friends!  We are offering two different routes.  Lindenwood is 35 km and Indian Acres is 18 km.   \nWe offer leaders for Groups A\, B\, C.   (Check “Weekly Rides” tab to determine which group fits your fitness level.  On the “sign-up link” below\, you can indicate which group you want to ride in\, your final choice will be at ride time.  The pace for each group is outlined on the “weekly ride” tab. \nRoute Directions:  Both routes go out the same direction.  The shorter 18km route turns right on Conc 10/Indian Acres\, the right on Grey Road 1 and back to Kelso.  The 35 km route continues on 17 and turns right at Lindenwood road.  Then right on Grey Road 1 and left on Church back to Balmy Beach and back to Kelso. \n   (35 km route) \n (18 km route) \nSIGN UP HERE \n\nTonight’s ride is also a “Try-It” ride\, open to non-members at no charge.  If you’ve been thinking about joining us\, this is a great opportunity to come out and experience the group! \nImportant: All participants must: \n\nSign a waiver prior to riding (waiver will be provided to you)\nRegister on the sign-up sheet using the link provided above\n\nPlease note: Non-members may participate in a maximum of two Try-It rides per season. \nWe look forward to riding with you!
