SUMMARY:Gravel Ride - Bayshore arena to Walters Falls
DESCRIPTION:N.B. Start time will be 9 am (rather than the usual 6 pm) on this July 1 holiday Wednesday. \nJuly 1 6:30 AM – the route is now shorter to accomodate for the high heeat and increased humidity. \nJune 26 – I rejiged this route to keep us on good roads.  Recent grading on sideroads will be avoided. \nA 53 km (594 m of climbing) route starting from the Bayshore arena parking lot.  We’ll follow the east side rail trail to Sunny Valley Road. A hilly loop brings us back to Sunny Valley road and the rail trail. \nWe’ll aim for two groups of riders but I’ll also ask that riders “buddy up” with another rider.  The groups may break up so I’ll ask everyone to download the route on their phones/devices and be prepared to navigate yourselves\, if needed. These hills are challenging and breaks after climbs are encouraged but I’ll ask that no single rider be left to ride alone. \nBrian O’Doherty \nSign up here

DESCRIPTION:RIDE CANCELLED – 90% CHANCE OF RAIN AT 6 PM \nThe ride this week starts at West Rocks\, From Grey Rd 5\, turn north on Concession 3 to trail head for parking.  (Note:  We are still recruiting for “Ride Captain” for Tuesday Ladies ride.  Please reach out to Melinda Smith for details. ) \nGroups:  A\, B\, C (Check the website under “Weekly Ride” to determine which group fits your fitness level.  On the sign up link below\, you can indicate which group you want to ride in\, but your final choice will be at ride time.  The pace for each group is outlined on the “weekly ride” tab. \nHead west on Grey Rd 5 to Kilsyth\, at Kilsyth\, head straight south until you come to 40.  Turn right and at first corner turn left unto Concession 3.
