Pre-ride registration / COVID Rules
Group sizes are no longer limited to 10 but “group size must be manageable to ensure the safety of all participants.” For traceability we will continue to use the preregistration sign up sheets.
About the Club
The Owen Sound Cycling Club actively promotes all types of bicycling in and around the southern Georgian Bay region of Ontario, Canada. The club and its members pursue and participate in both road and off road cycling events.
The club holds weekly time trials and rides. The time trials range from 15 Km to 40 Km and include individual time trials, Australian pursuit, team time trials and off road races. The group rides vary from easy recreational to longer fitness training, off road, back road, free rides, night rides and touring.
OSCC and Our Community
This organization is actively involved in developing new trails and maintaining existing trail systems in cooperation with the Grey/Sauble Conservation Authority and other land owners.
The club promotes cycling as a safe, clean and healthy way to commute and travel throughout the region.
The Owen Sound Cycling Club is a member of the Ontario Cycling Association.
We welcome new members.
Membership fees for 2022:
The cost of becoming a member for the majority of you is $10 for the Owen Sound Club plus $48 (plus tax and a processing fee on that portion) for OCA Affiliate Club Membership. That will cover you for all club rides, including TTs. Only choose one of the other options (Provincial, UCI or Specialist) if you intend to race at that level.
If you already have OCA insurance though another club, this portion of the fee ($48 for OCA Affiliate Club Membership or other) will be waived.
The confirmation email from CCNBikes will have your club card as an attachment. We suggest you print it. Ride leaders may ask to see it before a ride.
