Gravel Ride – Kelso Beach start

Kelso to Francis Lake and Shallow Lake 40 km (128 m elevation). 6 pm departure.
From Kelso Beach parking lot we’ll follow the west side rail trail to Benallen to the Gordon Sutherland parkway. Turn left on Indian Acres Rd then right on Grey Rd 17. Grey Rd 17 is paved and busy. Past Copper Kettle we’ll turn left on Big Rock Rd and find ourselves on nice quiet cottage roads adjacent to Francis Lake. Three other gravel roads bring us onto Grey Rd 170 and Shallow Lake. Home via the rail trail.
