Tuesday – Women’s Ride (Conn 3/West Rock Trail Head Start) & “Try-It Ride”

The ride this week starts at Concession 3 Derby, West Rock Trail Head 6:15 sharp.  Due to the unsafe conditions of both Cemetery Hill and Creamery Hill we are starting the ride on Conn 3.  The OSSC Board encourages you to  drive to the start rather than ride up either of these hills for safety reasons. 

Groups A, B, C (Check “Weekly Rides” tab to determine which group fits your fitness level.  On the “sign-up link” below, you can indicate which group you want to ride in, your final choice will be at ride time.  The pace for each group is outlined on the “weekly ride” tab.

Route Directions:  Follow Grey Rd 5 through Waverley Heights, cross Grey Rd 18 and follow into Kilsyth.  Turn right at Kilsyth.  Next turn is a left on Grey Rd 3 to Keady.  Turn right at the 4 way stop (Sullivan Derby town line).  At next corner turn right unto Conc 11.  You will go two blocks, crossing over Grey Rd 5 and then make a right turn on Sideroad 9.  Stay on this road through Kilsyth until Mennonite Corner, where you will turn left on Grey Rd 18.  At the flashing light turn right and back to starting point.

Tonight’s ride is also a “Try-It” ride, open to non-members at no charge.  If you’ve been thinking about joining us, this is a great opportunity to come out and experience the group!

• Sign a waiver prior to riding (waiver will be provided to you)
• Register on the sign-up sheet using the link provided above

Please note: Non-members may participate in a maximum of two Try-It rides per season.
